Our Founder - Late Shri R DayanandaSagar

The Founder President of Dayananda Sagar Institutions, the Late Shri R DayanandaSagar had a great vision: Education for all sections of society.

He set up the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Education Trust (MGVP). A role model inthe field of Education, his dream has created a place for itself in the history of Indianeducation, winning the hearts of many, far and wide.

Smt. Chandramma Sagar, wife of the founder, was a Doctor by profession – a triple FRCS from London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. She was in the panel of Doctors for the President of India.

Dayananda Sagar Business Academy focuses its academic goals of excellence through making serious and sustained efforts to improve the quality of management education and take it to globally acceptable levels.

DSBA was conceived with an objective to meet the growing needs of management graduates in the corporate sector of Indian economy. Just as the physical environment of the campus has been improved and enriched by the development programme over recent years, the DSI track record of making management education accessible by the discerning has enriched the lives of a whole new generations of students.

	Message from the Vice-Chairman Dr. D. Premachandra Sagar, Vice-Chairman Management education today is not merely acquiring post graduate degrees or diplomas.
